Thank you for booking your
diving vacation through Dive Provo. Please make sure you read this page so that
you have everything you need for a wonderful time.
PAYMENT POLICY - A $100.00 per person deposit is due within seven (7) days of
reservation, with the balance due forty-five (45) days prior to arrival date.
For some hotel/dive packages, a 3 (three) night deposit may be required to
confirm the room reservation. For Group bookings, a $500.00 deposit is required
to confirm space. Deposits need to be upgraded to $100.00 per person 90 days
prior to arrival. NOTE: Some special dives and/or events may require immediate
payment in order to confirm your reservation. PLEASE MAKE ALL CHECKS PAYABLE
TO: Dive Provo and mail to: Reservation Services International,
CANCELLATION POLICY - If a cancellation occurs more than twenty-one (21) days prior to
arrival date, you will receive a full refund of deposits and any prepayments,
less a $50.00 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations that occur less than
twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival will be assessed a $100.00 per person cancellation
fee, plus any hotels cancellation penalties which may apply. Some hotel
deposits for Christmas/New Year period require a non-refundable deposit. All No
Shows are non-refundable.
RE-BOOKING and/or CHANGE FEE – A $25.00 per person charge will be assessed for
any changes made once vouchers and documents have been issued.
NON-USAGE OF PACKAGE INCLUSIONS - All dive packages are non-refundable and
non-transferable once you arrive on island. Every effort is made by Dive Provo
to accommodate necessary changes after arrival; however in certain cases this
may not be possible due to availability of boats or staff. No refunds or
credits will be awarded for any unused portions of package unless the dive is
cancelled by Dive Provo. Package inclusions, terms and rates are subject to
change without notice.
We highly recommend trip cancellation and
interruption insurance to protect you and your vacation investment. Please
contact your reservation agent to purchase.

TO ENTER THE
TO DIVE - You
will need to bring proof of certification. Unfortunately we are unable to
accommodate divers without proof of certification, so please DON’T FORGET YOUR CERTIFICATION CARD! For divers doing their training dives, please bring
your Referral Form or signed log book.
ADDITIONAL INSURED - Any active scuba instructor may conduct training on board Dive
Provo’s boats as long as they produce copies of their instructor insurance
naming Dive Provo as an additional insured.

LANGUAGE -
English is the official language of the Turks and Caicos.
CURRENCY -
The US dollar is the
CREDIT CARDS/TRAVELLERS' CHECKS - American Express, MasterCard and Visa are widely
accepted in hotels and larger business establishments, however Dive Provo does
not accept American Express. Master Card and Visa only.
Cash or travelers checks are recommended in smaller businesses. ATM machines
are also available at the local banks.
WEATHER -
The average year-round temperature is 83F (28C). The hottest months are
September and October, when temperatures can reach 90 to 95F (33 to 35C). The
almost-constant easterly trade winds temper the heat and keep life comfortable.
Casual resort and leisure wear is accepted attire for daytime; light sweaters
or jackets may be necessary on some breezy evenings, especially in December,
January and February. Visitors are advised to wear protective clothing and a
sun hat, and use waterproof sunscreen when out in the tropical sun. A 3-mm
shorty or full suit is recommended for diving.

A valid driver's license from a visitor's normal place of residence is suitable

- The power is stable at 110 Volts/60 Cycle, which is the same voltage as in

MEDICAL FACILITY/RECOMPRESSION CHAMBER - In case of medical problems on vacation there is a
government clinic, staffed 24 hours, and also private health centers with
